Reminds me of the first time I sat in my first Prius and couldn't figure out how to start it. I was pushing the START button but the engine wouldn't turn over. I didn't know it ran on the battery until it got going.

My first wife was mortified when she peed on me laughing too hard. I thought it was funny, but I worked in animal research and was used to a lot of worse stuff. A little pee was nothing. In fact part of my job was scrubbing in on canine kidney transplants and pee squirting out the unattached ureter was a sign of success.

Face it Loggy, puns don't deserve all the credit they used to get. This is the age of the meme.

So puns are now regarded the way we regard mimes?
I remember the three or four years where suddenly being a mime in the US was the coolest thing. Guys thought girls would be attracted to them because they were mimes. This was round about the time Marcel Marceau was touring, maybe 1971-ish.

And then suddenly I think it was Robin Williams in some comedy where he walks by a mime and trips him intentionally, knocks the guy right over and keeps on walking! LOL

Okay, so now I guess mimes had jumped the shark.
Are we ready to let puns "jump the shark"?
I dunno, I kinda like a good pun, and you don't need a computer device. ThumbsUp

And hey, we always had memes anyway.
It's what used to drive the pop poster industry.
Robbie Conal is an excellent example of memes on canvas, or in his case, posterboard.

Maybe mimes could repurpose themselves as meme mimers.
