Trump good old days

Trump good old days - 09/30/19 07:35 PM

Trump continues to talk about the good old days. You know, the ones where he says; “You know what we used to do in the old days when we were smart? Right? The spies and treason, we used to handle it a little differently than we do now,” The important thought is the "WE" thing.

Since he has only been in office something like 2 years, in them good old days (obviously more than 2 years), he was evidently dealing with spies and treason. I am basing this on what he said! That being the case, and there is really no time limits for murder, and he is claiming that "WE" (he and his gang I guess) used to do it all the time! how come nobody has started an investigation into that?

That is really very funny, but maybe a bit frightening at the same time.

Thank you.

It's hard to charge a compulsive liar with perjury, when everybody assumes everything he says is a lie. Even his supporters.

There was a reason why Trump's lawyers didn't want him talking to Mueller under oath - they knew he couldn't tell the truth.

All the more reason to get Trump under oath in front of SCOTUS Chief Justice Roberts in a Senate trial. smile

Clinton was charged with perjury. I wonder what the penalty is when you actually commit perjury at your impeachment trial. I don't think Trump would make it more than a few sentences before he starts lying and trying to justify why his crimes where okay. He really has no sense of what is legal and what is illegal, or even what is right and what is wrong.

The Chief Justice's only duty and responsibility in a Senate Impeachment Trial is to preside. President Donald (...) Trump can not appeal a Senate conviction to the Supreme Court. Remember, impeachment is a political process not a judicial process.

Hmmm, President Doanld (...) Trump doubles down asking for foreign help to investigate what ever. From MSNBC Australian PM confirms Trump asked for help investigating Mueller probe

If Attorney General William (...) Barr continues his current activities, there may be another impeachment forth coming...

May be time to open another thread, just for this impeachment...
