LOL.
In case anybody ever misunderstand me. I'm real unhappy with the overall state of (lack of) health care in this country and am disappointed with how little emphasis we put on it but I couldn't be more pleased with my personal doctors and their integrity.
They impress me greatly and I know how lucky I am.

Morning everybody.
It's another clear sunny day today. It's going to be hot though.
Late start. Suits me.

...just got back from Reno with my um..."friend" from L.A. It was my bday weekend and it was a gloriously white birthday - it snowed all day long!

My "friend" is from Connecticut and he said: Yous California people ah weud. You get all excited ovah snow. (He also says: wuddah [...for water])

Lost $60 at the casinos. I was up $53.00 at one point and nearly lost it all, then finally left with $14.00 up after almost losing all of it.

And here I was, thinking the Lady of Shallot was an older woman, running around Paris and having adventures, played in the movie by Katharin Hepburn. smile

Buzz up!

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — A man charged in the death of University of North Carolina student body president Eve Carson pleaded guilty to state charges this afternoon, avoiding a trial and any possibility of a death sentence.

Demario Atwater, 23, of Durham, pleaded guilty at a hearing in Hillsborough to first-degree murder, armed robbery, kidnapping and other charges in the death of Eve Carson, the 2004 valedictorian at Clarke Central High School.
Eve Carson murder suspect pleads guilty, avoids death penalty
My heart will never stop bleeding for the loss of this young woman. A classmate and fellow exceptional student and teammate of my daughter.

I'm glad there will be no trial and no death penalty.

Phil...
the PPS file was magnificent!

Makes you wonder at who you are, where you are, and how incredibly insignificant you are. ("you" = me, us, one, we)

Am converting as a screensaver... as a reminder of the word "humility".
