Quilted Northern®, Angel Soft®, Brawny®, Sparkle® , Soft 'n Gentle®, Mardi Gras®, Vanity Fair®, and the Dixie® - all of these brands are Koch Industries products.

Koch Industries, Inc. is an American private energy conglomerate based in Wichita, Kansas, with subsidiaries involved in manufacturing, trading and investments. Koch also owns Invista, Georgia-Pacific, Flint Hill Resources, Koch Pipeline, Koch Fertilizer, Koch Minerals and Matador Cattle Company.

From 2005 to 2008, Koch industries spent $5.7 million on political campaigns and $37 million on direct lobbying to support fossil fuel industries. Greenpeace says that between 1997 and 2008 Koch Industries donated nearly $48m to groups which doubt or oppose the current consensus on climate change. According to Greenpeace, Koch Industries is the major source of funds of what Greenpeace calls "climate denial." Koch Industries and its subsidiaries spent more than $20 million on lobbying in 2008 and $12.3 million in 2009, according to the Center for Responsive Politics to help defeat Health Care Reform.

Thanks Rick,

I didn't realize they owned all those familiar brands. I will find a substitute for Georgia-Pacific sheet stock for my small business. Good to know.

I don't think this "Vanity Fair" is the magazine, Vanity Fair. Feel free to continue getting aging gracefully tips, and how to be a good lover in bed, 2wins.

Thanks for doing the research, Rick. That list is now posted on my refrigerator. Four adults will not be buying those products. If we ever get dug out of this snow, I will post that list at school, too. I have already sent it to my union. We do what we can.

Count me in. Also, FWIW, I too read Vanity Fair interviews. I'll stop. I don't believe I use anything owned by the Kochs anyway, the pukes.
