no, still dont get what youre getting at.

the natural fluctuations as per the graph, to me as a layman at least, would seem to be the range of anomolies over the past 1000 years. No modelling required. The point being that the range is now heading beyond what went before.

what exactly is your difficulty with modelling anyway?

Schlacky,

I'm betting you're the one on the right? ThumbsUp

Why pick a relatively small time-frame? No useful analysis can be done from such a small sample size. Schlacky gave you a temp graph spanning 700 years.

1000, and thats still not a long timeframe, but it is an indicator of recent natural variations.

actually it was you who dragged it out of me, reluctant as i was to pin a date on it, however it does seem that the rate of increase is unusual for the past 1000 years, and is showing no signs of abating as it has done over previous decades in a wavy kind of way (actual science words there!).

But you wanted to beat down on models, please feel free, I'll even join in!

PF,

Please state an opinion or present a fact. So far your contributions to this thread are nonsensical, IMO, though there has been a very patient effort by some to give you a chance to participate in what might be an interesting discussion.

Thank you. ThumbsUp
