Makes one wonder why is it that the United States spends more on medical care per person than any country when there are so many deaths caused by the American health care system and its incompetent physicians.

Yes, indeed, I wonder about that, too. How refreshing to find another American who is also capable of wondering about the obvious.

I have some opinions on the matter, and those opinions should be obvious. However, I will not go into them, since some people will insist that I waste my time scurrying around the internet to gather articles supporting obvious facts which, I suspect are, in fact, already obvious to them.

I know one thing for sure, if and when our societal construct collapses America is going to go out as an extended, our worst ever, uber noisy, 4th of July night 'celebration'. OUCH!

With reference to the 120,000 physician related deaths, there's another statistic that raises the death toll towards 300,000 per annum due to hospital errors in terms of nurses adminstering the wrong medication to inpatients, deadlier infections related to extended hospital stays etc.; I.E., MRSA et al. which requires the hospitals to isolate recovering patients in quarantine from the general population. The most dangerous place to visit or have a stay of either a short or lengthy nature is a hospital complex.
