Then he must be a Dem. All the evidence I need to show you is Obama's apology tour.

I think belief/non-belief in "God" and "is God necessary?" is a decision best left to each individual. There is no need to disparage to others what God is or isn't to oneself. If you don't believe God is necessary, then God isn't necessary. If you believe that God is necessary, then God is. But don't tear down others' beliefs, just because they don't jive with your own. Then you just become the pot calling the kettle black.

I once took an Acient Civilizations course and had to write a final paper. The topic of my final was that Moses was a great leader who knew parlor magic. I got an A.

If people need to believe in God then they are allowed, just like people who do not are allowed to not believe. God is what he is, and he is different to every believer. I would like to hope that there is a god, especially living in Moonbat Central, but I keep my expectations in that situation to myself. Sometimes irrational beliefs are vital for the act of living everyday life.

A book I read centuries ago The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind made great sense to my understanding of the roots of "god".
