When I look at Hilary, I am often reminded of what François Mitterand is said to have remarked about Margaret Thatcher :

"She has the lips of Marilyn Monroe, and the eyes of Caligula."

But she already has more experience in (or at least really near) the Oval Office than any of the usual candidates!

She has publicly stated that she will not serve a second term at State. She is forming up her own foundation to focus on global women's issues. About time someone did!

I should have been suspicious when I read that Sarah Palin recommended that Obama trade in Biden for Hillary.

i am aware that this rumor has been making the right wing rounds for some time as i heard it early on in maybe winter 2011-2012 on elrushbo ... he says it originated with democratic insiders ... so in the delusional world of extremist right wingers there is no telling why they would promote the idea other than to create a fissure where there is none ... help me ... i am drowning ... throw a line with an idea more reasonable

All of the above. My first clue was the phrase "Hillary didn't want to be tied to Obama's left-leaning politics". They are not left-leaning. They are centrist, in most instances. And if the lunch was only between Valerie Jarret and Hillary Clinton, then who leaked that the VP position came up? I do not think that either Hillary or Jarret would do so. And the other clue is how these people would know how Obama was thinking. Lies.
