My favorite political writer, Charles Pierce, has penned another gem...

I'm not going to do excerpts. It needs to be read in its entirety.

Wow.

I have a very close relative who is, as we speak, inveighing against everything from Obama's hatred of Israel to gun control where Boston is concerned. He is verging on the cusp of going full-on freeper or maybe even out and out nutter-butter.

I doubt I could get him to read this article but I am going to try.

Hear, hear! Great piece from Charles Pierce. Thanks. It is unfortunate that writing like this will never be seen or heard by most Americans.

Barney Frank is correct. Government, local, state and federal, has done a hell of job in emergency mitigation and response. Since 911, the US government has made vast improvements in all areas of crisis response, especially under President Obama and Janet Napolitano. It has been tax money well spent. Unfortunately, the MSM seems to prefer blood and screw ups.

Reads like just another mouthpiece trying to get political milage out of what happened. To be expected, I guess.

No! No! We can never acknowledge that any collective, especially any government entity, can do anything positive!!!

Shorter Issodhos: I got nothing of substance to say about the message, so I'll make an inane comment about the messenger. To be expected, I guess.

I give it the short shrift I give Limbaugh's propaganda, Chuck. Same stuff, just cheerleading for the other crowd. coffee
