Depends upon who has the gun and whom they are pointing it at

Pointing your gun at somebody to intimidate them in the course of an illegal act fits the definition of Assault with a Deadly Weapon quite nicely. I think any of those maliciamen photographed aiming their weapons at BLM officers could be prosecuted for that crime.

The best result would be that they carry felony convictions for the rest of their lives, and thus lose their right to own or possess any weapons. Then anyone so disposed would think long and hard before doing this. Sometimes your highest purpose in life is to serve as a bad example for others.

Since it is not illegal to kill a "scary Negro" in Florida, no assault can be charged... Hmm

Since the BLM agents are actually sworn as law enforcement, pointing any kind of a weapon at them IS in fact a felony and this administration is making a huge mistake if they don't charge them as such.
It IS Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and it IS actionable and it DOES carry prison time and loss of gun rights.

So what is the government waiting for? Either charge them with a crime or designate them as enemy soldiers. They call themselves soldiers, so treat them as such already.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon ... "the victim only needs to experience an “apprehension of imminent harm” in order for an assault to occur"

the circumstances are apparently irrelevant except for in defense of the charge

this is apparently a federal crime and would fall under federal statues. A failure to pursue these criminal acts would be tantamount to dereliction of their mandated duties as described in the Constitution.

I don't doubt that federal charges are being contemplated. But, remember, we are dealing with heavily-armed idiots with guns. To be effective, their take-down need to be simultaneous, quiet, and careful to avoid a Waco or Ruby ridge style stand-off.
