A sociopath runs amok—and kills more men than women—and feminists ride their hobbyhorse.

Over 77 percent of all U.S. murder victims in 2012 were male; targets of non-lethal shootings are even more disproportionately male. Four of the six homicide victims of Elliot Rodger, the lunatic narcissist who went on a killing spree in Santa Barbara in revenge for female rejection, were male. And yet the feminist industry immediately turned this heartbreaking bloodbath into a symbol of America’s war on women.

It is obviously true that individuals and groups tend to an obsessive focus upon themselves.

In this case I cannot say that the news coverage that I heard focused on this as an attack on women. Other than reporting the fact that his manifesto was centered upon his issues of rejection by women

In general it seems a fact that men are the source of the bulk of the gun and non gun related violence. Testosterone fueled violence will mostly come from and be directed at men. You see the same thing in wild animals. This surprises no one I think

And IMO it is fairly clear that women become the targets of male violence including rape and beatings and murder. Flat out women are often victims of make aggression. Hard to deny I think

It is just that man on man violence is even more common.

As a man I do not fear thAt a woman will attack me. I fear attack by other men. And IMO women are rightly even more concerned about male aggression

Bottom line
I think women have very good reasons to be concerned about male violence directed towards them. And it seems odd to me to dismiss those concerns as this article seems to do

Any excuse will do, my friend.

You ever notice how few mass-shootings are carried out by Japanese-American men?

That's because culturally, they would consider losing their s*** in such a public display to be a humiliating, embarrassing admission of personal weakness and failure.

Which is just how it SHOULD be considered.

The only legitimately supportable statement in Ms MacDonald's screed is, "These females live in a different world than I do." Very true. Ms MacDonald lives in a fantasy land, along with the other denizens of National Reviewland. The rest of us, alas, have to live in the real world.
