In the Kansas gubernatorial race, Governor Sam Brownback, Republican governor of Kansas, is now trailing state Rep. Paul Davis (D), who has recently received the endorsement of "the organization Republicans for Kansas Values, which is composed of 104 current and former Republican officeholders in Kansas." (link) “This election should not be about electing a Republican or a Democrat as Governor. It must be about electing a moderate, commonsense Kansan as governor', former state Senate President Dick Bond (R) added."

Brownback has received the endorsement of failed Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum, who spoke on Brownback's behalf twice Monday. “'Sam takes on the dragons. He is the warrior,' Santorum said, later adding, 'He is a visionary in a state that can lead.'" (link) I think that was a dangling modifier and Santorum meant that Brownback can lead, rather than the state can lead ... just guessing, because, after all, Santorum is the professional speaker.

So I guess Santorum is saying that Brownback sees dragons in Kansas, whereas most of us don't. If your state has a dragon problem, you might want to contact Brownback. Sounds like he's your guy and you can probably get him cheap because Kansas doesn't want him anymore.

Just a Missouri school teacher ... stubborn as a mule and addicted to logic.
