Cliven Bundy confronted federal officers with deadly weapons. He is NOT a freedom fighter by any sane definition. He is a criminal, and he's very lucky federal officers treated him with kid gloves instead of (justifiably) killing him. Now he's being tried for his crimes by a judge and jury of his peers, and I have no doubt at all that he will spend years in prison and emerge (if at all) stripped of his right to own guns for the rest of his life.

Anybody who supports him is in grave danger of committing similar criminal acts, and I urge their family members to get away as soon as possible or seek some psychiatric intervention.

The treatment of Cliven Bundy by law enforcement, courts and government officials is embarrassing to a nation built on the principle of law. Him refusing to pay what he objects to being unjust in both price and principle, does not warrant the treatment he's getting.

If Klayman is the best lawyer he can get, because all the others are to scared of Big Brother, then it might be true that, "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose".
Man, I congratulate you. That is either great sarcasm, or the best trolling since a Donald Trump started insulting Elizabeth Warren and got bitch-slapped with facts.

The treatment of Cliven Bundy by law enforcement, courts and government officials ...

... has been inappropriately lenient. If there is any truth to it, Harry Reid conspired to have the law enforced.

I recommend you actually analyze what you type.

You have no facts to support your conclusion. Your citation was simply a listing of innuendo which you have taken as factual.

The refutation is simple. How did Sen Reid force Bundy to graze cattle on federal land? How did Sen Reid force Bundy to not pay for the rights to graze cattle? When a person commits a crime, do you say the police conspired to have that person commit a crime so the police could arrest the lawbreaker?

The law was already on the books.

Every time you type one of these comments, you appear to question the legitimacy of the federal government and yet you previously stated it is legitimate. How is it you can say it is legitimate and then argue against its legitimacy?

If Bundy were black in NYC he'd be dead and there would be no discussion about it. Hmm

Yup. Bundy wonders if a return to benevolent captivity might not be better for the Negro has not only been blown out of proportion by the media, it also reflects The Negro’s failure to get what King was truly talking about, because The Negro is just not as tight with the MLK as Cliven Bundy is:

Quote:
Maybe I sinned and maybe I need to ask forgiveness and maybe I don’t know what I actually said. But you know when you talk about prejudice, we’re talking about not being able to exercise what we think and our feelings. We’re not freedom — we don’t have freedom to say what we want. If I call - if I say ‘negro’ or ‘black boy’ or ‘slave,’ I’m - If those people cannot take those kind of words and not be offensive, then Martin Luther King hasn’t got his job done yet. They should be able to - I should be able to say those things and they shouldn’t offend anybody.

Cliven Bundy may not make it to the promised land, but by golly, he’s sure going to piss and moan about all the coloreds until they get off the government teat and take the bus there.

You have to hand it to Cliven Bundy - here’s a man who thinks Martin Luther King would be on his side and would shake his head in astonishment at just how touchy blacks get about every last little cliche and stereotype that Bundy utters about them.

The reports from 2014 said that BLM personell planned to remove Bundy's cattle from federal land that he had not paid for in years. Friends and sympathizers, some armed, showed up to stop the cattle confiscation. No threat of violence was given from the defenders. As I recall, a court ordered the BLM to stand down. BLM personell do not have the legal standing as police officers do with regards to employing violence.

Bundy owes money, but is the treatment of him balanced? The Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik sued the Norwegian state for cruel and inhuman treatment, as he has solitary confinement 23 hours a day. He won! The government will appeal.

The suffragettes broke the laws, and changed it.
Blacks and whites protested peacefully against racial discrimination and were sometimes violently attacked. But they got the laws changed.
Citizens of all sorts protested against the Vietnam war, sometimes in violent confrontation with police and other representatives of the governments armed entities. The war was ended.
People marched for gay rights. Most importantly, that being gay should no longer be outlawed. Today it isn't.

Why should people showing up to protest against the treatment of farmers, by the government agencies and officials, be called internal terrorists, etc?
