I am not enthralled with their nominee, but the Democrats lost this election IHMO because they have no balls, think everything through too much and therefore look week and indecisive.

Personally I think that is a good thing, but clearly many voters do no.

Here's the thing.. If this ploy would work, it should be used to restore a semblance of balance. On the other hand, it would pretty much guarantee that the new Congress would eliminate the filibuster, which is the only real check Democrats still have.
