I'm sharing it far and wide. Maybe it's a counter to my "Debbie Downer" thread earlier today.
You credited, of course.

I am Shocked, repeat Shocked, that even after a Palin Obit by NW Ponderer, and replies by several old hands, that Palin has not been inducted into the Douchebag hall of shame, repeat SHOCKED!

It is so long overdue that we recognize the long-lasting damage she has inflicted on the American political process. When McCain picked her for VP, he couldn't have imagined the scope of this disassturd. In effect, she lowered the bar for the second highest executive office to an unpresidented level. This led to every whackjob thinking, if she is smart enough to be president, should the situation arise, SO AM I! The rest of this story is beyond belief, but here we are!

Please, please, can some American patriot drive a silver stake through her heart, lest she reincarnate as some zombie official in the Trump administration! If you think this unlikely look at Douchebag zombies (2012) that have risen from the dead! Positions are unfortunately still available for ambassadours to Canada, (who pleaded to be bombed instead), Russia, that she can see from Wasilla, and Alaska.

While driving last summer from Denali, not just a mountain in Alaska, to Anchorage, we were forced to go through Wasilla. Most road signs in Alaska, that are suitable for sighting in your rifle, have a few bullet holes. Boys will be boys. As we approached Wasilla, there was a quite noticeable increase in the bullet holes in the Wasilla signs, with some very tight groupings. Just saying...
FAREWELL DOUCHEBAG!

I am warming up this thread so that the RyanCare bill will feel comfy when it arrives soon. Susan Collins just denounced the bill publicly, 10 teaparty types, think it's to liberal, and Corker told the house that they could kiss their assets goodbye, if the send it to the Senate. Not to mention, but I will that Chris Matthews just coined a new name for spicer. He called him the new Baghdad Bob!

Greger was right, that this is getting amusing/entertaining!

I'm making a reservation here for Davin Nunes who has doomed his own chairmanship of the Oxymoronic so-called House of Reprehensibles "INTELLIGENCE" committee. He blundered so badly and publicly that many are asking how did this (need a term to describe this), (moron will have to serve as a working handle till consensus is achieved), end up as chairman of a previously important committee?

There has to be some ulterior motive for such behavior. So a little background from the tubes of the internets lead us to so answers. Nunes, pronounced as Noon-es/ez, not Nooyez with that ñ, is a Portuguese derived family name. Nunes come from a multi-generational California diary farmer lineage, who emigrated from from the Azores. That opens up another portal of ridicule for later. House Intel Chair Devin Nunes’s One-Man War on the Pentagon

This Azorian had a mysteriously rapid ascension in the house committee structure, apparently as he was viewed as a rising model of a modern major general of the GOP. He somehow ended up, tiger scratchin head emoji, in Intelligence, having been carefully groomed for global affairs by his degree in animal husbandry, that I had thought was more a Southern and Midwest tradition.

It all becomes clear by viewing his activities in "intelligence". Most of his effort was directed at getting a very major military command center, for Europe and Russian affairs, moved to, you guessed it, the Azores!

The pentagon viewed this suggestion as you would expect, as real generals, and admirals apparently, want to party in fancy digs in Europe, if ya cant get that stimulating Asian gig. Anyway Nunes continued his pressure. Somewhere along the line, unclear timeline as yet, Nunes was promoted to Portuguese Royalty. You cant make this Shiite up! Whether this was "quid pro quo" or "quid pre quo" doesnt matter, as in either case he, as chair of Intelligence committee, should be registered as a foreign agent. This would presumably be another first, and Grrrate accomplishment for the GOP.

Trying to exile an important anti-Russian asset to the Azores, might be considered a slight conflict of interest, on the Intelligence committee, at least while impartially investigating Russian interference and collaboration with the current, and hopefully short-lived, administration.

As for the Azorian Nunes, a quick trip to Urban Dicktionalry finds a suitable synonym for Nune's', got to settle on a plural/possessive form as well.

Previously Nuner referred to lunch with staff at the Notell Motel, but slang moves on.

Nuner
Normally coupled with "to pull a...":

1) A generally knobish thing to do

2) Something so morally wrong as to be funny

Last night, Derek pulled a nuner; he slept with his girlfriend's sister, and when she caught him, he asked if he could borrow a condom.

NTSTITS... pronounced "nits tits". Not The Sharpest Tool In The Shed.

The Razor from the Azores is NTSTITS; but a tool, nonetheless.

Thats a very appropriate description of Nunes, but doesnt convey the symbolism or imagery of the act of "Pulling a Nunes's"... They have trouble right there in River City

But, that leave us Pune or Punes for which I seem to have no immediate association... But if we just go with the capitol T, there is an association symbollocks of a Greger image of a misguided train...

Flynn, Turkey, and Nunes meet in Trump hotel.
Michael Flynn met with Turkey at Donald Trump’s hotel. Guess who else attended? Devin Nunes.
I am now confirming Nunes reservation in the "Farewell to Douchebags" Hall of shame. But at least he hasnt had his intelligence committee impartiality compromised. Is it too late to register as a foreign agent?

Earlier this week former Donald Trump campaign adviser James Woolsey publicly revealed that he had attended a meeting between Michael Flynn and the Turkish government which involved discussions so legally dubious that he reported it to the U.S. government. But guess who else tagged along for a meeting between Flynn and the Turkish government? House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, who this week inserted himself into the Trump-Russia scandal in bizarre fashion.

To be clear, these were two different meetings. Woolsey says the Flynn-Turkey meeting he attended, in which the kidnapping of Pennsylvania resident Fethullah Gülen was discussed, took place in the summer of 2016. But after Donald Trump was named the winner of the election, late in the transition team period, Flynn met with the Turkish government yet again. By this time James Woolsey had already resigned two weeks earlier. So instead, Flynn took another Trump transition team member with him, Devin Nunes.

It’s not publicly known what was discussed during the Flynn-Nunes-Turkey meeting on January 18th. But confirmation of the meeting has been hiding in plain sight all along. Earlier today respected political pundit T. R. Ramachandran posted a lengthy tweet storm (link) which included a reference to a previously overlooked article from Turkish news publication Daily Sabah (link). The article reports that “[Turkish] Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with designated U.S. National Security adviser Rt. Gen. Mike Flynn on Wednesday at Trump Hotel in Washington” and goes on to add that “House Intelligence Committee Congressman Devin Nunes, a Republican heavyweight, also attended the breakfast.”
