BillO has been terminated at Fox News Channel:

Quote:
“After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the Company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Bill O’Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel.”

So much #SwampDraining of CONservative media personalities (Bill, Milo, Tomi) these days! smile

Out with the bad, in with the worse? "Well, at least he's not a serial philanderer..."

Bill O'Rexit? B'oRexit? Not sure what's the "Right" word? "You're Fired"?

I just had an epiphany, of sorts: The whole reason the Catholic Church is so lousy at reporting molester priests is because they have to believe in the power of confession and redemption as a matter of faith. That is central to the whole thing. "Jesus died for your sins." Without that there really isn't much point for the whole thing.

And ALL of them at some point in their advancement up the church hierarchy have heard confessions. Lots of confessions. So they have probably heard many many confessions of daughter diddling over the years. When a priest falls into that sin, it is business as usual. They don't violate the confessional, but they have not turned in all the non-priests either. I suspect priest molesters are only a tiny fraction of such confessions.
