... that there could be a worse president than George W. Bush. Was I wrong. It scares me that this president has his finger on "the button"!

... that so many people would vote against their own best interests. Even my neighbor who lives on SSI and depends on the government for everything had Trump/Pence signs in his yard!

... that the population of this country would be so, so divided. Look at how the hatred poured out during the run-up to the election.

... that I could be so untrusting of every aspect our government. The way this administration spins everything I don't know which numbers coming out of it I can believe, if any.

Feel free to add those things that you thought you'd never see in your lifetime.

Man, there went my blood pressure up 20 points. Oops - I'm sure that is a pre-existing condition!

Test your blood pressure at most chain pharmacies for free. Get some blood pressure medication if it is high. Many different kinds, some are dirt cheap, and high blood pressure is a silent killer.

Conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer called President Trump a "Rodeo Clown" and now conservative columnist George Will wrote that the President is an intellectual sloth with an untrained mind bereft of information and married to stratospheric self confidence.

Those comments succinctly sum up President Trump. Hmm

Yeah, I am already on high blood pressure medicine and get regular checkups at the doctor. I was just saying that thinking about this stuff too much still pushes my BP up. eek

... that the first black President would be followed by the worst old white(ish) man. There were so many better qualified old white men to choose from. Even me!

I think its really more that he "spoke" to them:

Quote:
Mexicans are rapists and thieves. Islam is a nasty, terrible religion. The US government has been unfair to coal workers. The US government cares more about people in other countries than they do about Americans.

Hmm

Yes, a demogogue, not your normal Republican. You have to be either a Bible-thumper, a law and order type, or a conservative. Trump is none of those.

He's a pussy grabber, an eternally audited conman, and his policies are just things that fly out of his butt. Just think about the past 5 dead Republican Presidents and think if any of them are not spinning in their graves right now.
