When I came to Readerrant, lo these many years ago, it was because it required a certain decorum between posters, and citations for arguments. When I look, I see
those guidelines still exist. Maybe actually following the rules is too " quaint"?

When I started this thread, it was to search for common ground. If we can't do that here, how can we expect that from Congress?
