You don't know what you don't know.

Salk Institute has had a research proposal in at the DEA for months because of some very promising preliminary work with THC from legal lab standard solution they used on brain cells. They want to get some legal THC to try on mice but the DEA just Catch-22s it by saying it has to stay on the Schedule I list because there is no proven medical use. Salk can't proceed because they get federal funding for lots of projects, even though they could go down to the corner dispensary and get all they need for about $15!

It is classical circular logic. I think the only way to fix this is for Congress to act. They need to pass a law with a veto-proof majority that lowers it to Schedule II. Or at least direct the DEA to approve every research request for medical marijuana.

Well, you can't know it works if you don't let anyone test it.

Exactly their intent. They have their fingers stuck in their ears and are shouting: "Na, na na, na, na" as loud as they can.

On the other hand there is LOADS of evidence that medical marijuana helps some people. It is all anecdotal instead of double-blind scientific studies, but when even one child has 30 seizures a day every day despite modern medicine, then uses cannabis extracts and has 0 or 1 seizure per day for months on end, that is proof that it does have a medical use. When researchers find and elucidate the cannabidiol path we all have in our brains, that should be proof that we need to learn more about that path by approving studies at legitimate research institutes and universities.

Now that so many states have approved medical marijuana, scientists could actually do longitudinal studies on people with various conditions and publish the findings. Doesn't require any DEA approval if they don't supply the pot! And no funding by drug companies that are not interested in a substance anybody can grow for free in their backyard.

For example, looking at all MS victims do the pot users have less severe symptoms than the non-users? Have chronic pain victims used less opiates by replacing them with marijuana? How many long-term pot smokers developed Alzheimer's Disease compared to non-smokers? Some of the answers could knock the medical/pharmaceutical/DEA complex on it's ass and maybe win a Nobel prize, if they pan out.

This thing has happened before: High doses of Vitamin D are just as effective at preventing MS episodes as any of the current MS drugs (which all cost $60,000 - $90,000 per year).

Well...well...well...what have we here?

Brietibart uses Confederate Flag as logo on its inside pages.

Cowards don't even have the courage to use it's racist and bigoted southern dog whistle logo on its main page.

Disregard the above post. It's the Union Jack. Clearly I'm not familiar enough with Confederate Flags. Someone pointed out that the Confederate flag has a big X on it - signifies X for losers.

So FLAT EARTHERS, before you dive under the covers, is the Moon also a flat disc, or is Earth unique in that regard?
Was the total eclipse a Hollywood studio special effect, or was it staged by Obama?
