Help me out here, Ranters. I know we've all seen the picture of Don Trump Jr. holding the freshly severed elephant tail.

And I'm sure we all heard that his royal heinous President Trump has changed his 'mind' and will not start allowing elephant trophies to be brought into the US until he has had a chance to study it further. (Here)

So...If it continues to be illegal to bring elephant trophies into the US, it must have been illegal in the past.

So...Why did Trump Jr. cut that elephant's tail off?

It would be illegal to stuff it into his suitcase and bring it home as a trophy, so I'm SURE he wouldn't do that.

Did he have elephant-tail soup so he could use the old 'I kill for food' defense to justify the killing of that magnificent animal?

Or was it just a way to reassert his superiority over the poor beast?

I don't get it. Is the tail thing a hoax?

I don't quite get the thing about "hunting" elephants. They're as big as a barn, slow moving, and an easy target.

It's because you get to fire a really big gun:

"How do you like that, bitch!"

Like something out of a porno film. Now, Cape Buffalo are a worthy target. The running total of Cape Buffalo hunters versus Cape Buffalo is about even. They kill about as many hunters as hunters kill them.

That's the only way Don Junior gets any tail....
