Oh, wow, serendipity.

I was just Googling around and came cross this, a story about a porn star who got paid $130,000 right before the presidential election to keep quiet about an affair that happened ten years ago with the royal magnificent impeccable President Trump.

Barron Trump is eleven.

OK, evangelicals, this is your savior-guy. OK, Republicans, here is your family-values guy.

If I were Melania, I'd bean him with his favorite (foot-wedge) chipper.

If the reality-show star paid for sex with the porn star, that's illegal in a lot of states.

Location, location, location.

Yup, it was reported in the WSJ, today. A second porn star validates the claim. The second porn star was invited for a threesome, but declined. The second porn star was not paid-off not to talk, so she's talking. smile

Trumpies latest tweet-storm is about him not going to London because he doesn't want to cut the ribbon at Obama's crappy new embassy. Bad location, bad architecture, etc.

Of course all the decisions about the new embassy were made by the Bush administration, but let's not let a little thing like the facts get in the way of a good tweet!

I heard the real reason he won't go is that he wanted to ride in a horse-drawn carriage like the Queen, and they said no.

Yet willing to go to Davos...

I think, actually, it may have to do with extradition...

The Lying Jackass, our president, on TV, demanding change the libel laws so that them that lie get severely punished. Apparently he wants to change it so that celebrities can easier sue for libel.

I simply cannot add anything to that one! (this is the guy who actually lied over 2000 times so far)

That's the Narcissist Personality Disorder talking. He can't grasp that our libel laws actually protect him a ton more than they hurt him. Make those laws tougher and he would be answering a new lawsuit every time he tweets!

I almost agree with him on the libel thing. In the UK, for instance, politicians are not allowed to go flat out, with lies, against an opponent. Here we have the Republicans, who feel its right to lie about everything they can and make it stick with impunity. I can remember when they went after Kerry, a Vietnam decorated veteran who they effectively painted as a fraud and liar - ALL of which was patently a flat out lie. I don't think that is right, and I think that we should have a law to stop that kind of behavior. It might even be interesting to see such a law put up and see who rails against it or votes against it. Our willingness to lie is pretty disgusting says a bit more about who, and what, we really are and its not pretty.

Remember, the right actually believe that people will do the right thing if just given a chance and all regulation infringes on that right to behave properly. I mention this because it explains their otherwise really inexplicable actions. This is one that would further demonstrate their peculiar insanity in this regard.

I might also mention that there are 29 members of the Republican Freedom Caucus (the REAL crazies). This is the caucus, I think, that actually seems to be capable of controlling the other 211 Republican members of congress. Kinda amazes me that this can even happen. I must be wrong on this one.

The fact that the mainstream Republicans would rather be controlled by the Freedom Caucus nut-jobs than accept any Democratic help and votes shows the utter disfunctionality of the modern Republican Party. There are all sorts of things the Moderates of both Parties could do together but The Hasturt Rule says it all is a big football game and team unity is more important than doing your job.

It's like Republicans writing a bill and then voting against it because some Democrats are voting for it. People who do that are not fit for the office.

Okay, legitimate physician says Trump is in good mental health and scored 30 out of 30 on a cognitive test used to detect neurological problems. So he's totally responsible for all the stupid stuff he does!

Like admitting he obstructed justice when he did all that stuff to kill the investigation into Flynn. Flynn has pleaded guilty now, so that is the actual crime. Collusion is not necessary, because obstruction of justice is a perfectly good high crime impeachable offense. He can't pardon himself either because acceptance of a pardon means you admit to the crime, and impeachment does not require a criminal offense! So even if he pardoned himself for it, it would still be grounds for impeachment. They wouldn't even need to try him in the Senate because he would have already admitted to committing the offense.
