Enjoying the music. But that engages only part of my brain. So, the rest of it wandered. And I found myself thinking, I know the perfect country western song ... it goes, "I was drunk the day my mama got out of prison ..." Big segue. Then I found myself wondering what might be the worst name for a song.
I came up with "I Bet You Wish that I Could Sing."
And, as my brain went further astray, I wondered how that might translate in various styles of music.
Country western? "I know I Sound Like Coyote A'Howling"
Blues? "I'm Feeling So Sad (About Sounding So Bad)"
Folk? "If I Had a Good Voice, I'd Use it in the Morning"
Classic Rock? "I Used to Sound So Good"
Reggae? "I'm Happy about Not Sounding Good"
Jazz? "Listen to the Saxophone 'Cause I Sound Like Sh..."
Hymnal? "I Proudly Make an Inharmonious Noise Unto the Lord"
Rap? "Sorry I Sound Like a Candy (W)rapper"
Ok, that last one was weak.
And I think I've missed a style or two.
Anybody?
