Well, there's this... In November, Jones will face either Representative Dan Lipinski or Lipinski’s Democratic primary challenger, Marie Newman. But the district is heavily blue and Democrats have held the seat since 1975, so, luckily, Jones has little chance of winning. So this guy is basically just an embarrassment even to his own party. Makes me think of that old adage "when you lie down with dogs you get up with fleas"

Except in this case it's, "When you lie down with fleas, you wake up with more fleas." All fleas, all the time.

this security clearance thing is really not a thing for the administration, just everyone on the outside. they could simply say for all of those undergoing clearance investigation, you have clearance by decree of Mr Trump as president. I mean ... Mr trump doesn't care what security problems any of these folks have as long as they are loyal to and defend Mr Trump.

Occam's Razor: the White House is peopled by foreign agents. It is the simplest explanation.

This is what happens when you elect somebody who does not know the meaning of the word "ethics". From the Trump Book of #WINNING: Ethics - noun 1) an obscure word for all the obstacles that get in the way of making money bigly; 2) a word that losers use to make themselves feel superior when they are SAD that I am #WINNING!; 3) a general term for what makes people poosies.

Embrace the horror. If the Democrats sweep both chambers of Congress, Chuck and Nancy will perpetrate The Great Capitulation and Normalization of President Trump as hero to Democrats, as Trump himself mounts the podium to declare, "The American people have spoken. Republicans are LOSERS." To not do so would cost Mr. Trump his sanity. He would not be able to abide being castigated by a Democratic Party majority and seeing as how Chuck and Nancy are damn near as devoid of principles as Trump, it's the ultimate pragmatic establishment Democrat solution for all interested parties, except of course anyone who detests Trump for his lack of principles. But since when did that matter to Chuck and Nancy, or Debbie Wasserman Schultz, or anyone in the establishment Dems? Look what they did to someone who DID have some principles. Therefore, it wouldn't surprise me if Trump were to flip on gun control, but not till after November, and only if Democrats sweep both chambers of Congress in a stunning upset. PS: Mind you, I am not saying he will succeed with this idea, only that he's going to attempt doing it.
