Trump has been crowing about the results in these primary contests, but thinking Republicans are worried. They should be. In the Ohio contest, which cannot be called until at least the 24th, 588 found ballots moved the race closer, and at least 3300 ballots are still outstanding. In Kansas, Kobach’s lead in Kansas GOP primary shrinks due to mistake in vote totals. But the larger point is: these shouldn't be close, and Republican leaders know this.

Republicans for years now have keenly anticipated this scenario. Thus they have for years been trying to disenfranchise voters who are historically Democrat votes. Consider these races are close and one can see that excluding just a few thousand voters can make a difference.

Certain indicators are pointing towards a blue wave of sorts. It's about the only thing that has a chance of averting an economic disaster of Biblical proportions and possible shooting wars with Iraq et al...a possible WW3 with a madman in charge of the nuclear arsenal.

Nor am I. Democrats have a remarkable propensity for snatching defeat from the maw, as it were. Instead, I think, we each need to find a way to do our part to turn this debacle around. It's going to take hard and extensive work.

Would it be hypocritical to say that the most important job Democrats have to do right now is to make Trump a one term president...?
