Jon Kyl appointed to take John McCain's Senate seat - CBS. This is a slap. Kyl was frequently at odds with McCain, although both were conservative. Governor Doucey is aboard the Trump tram. Kyl is anti-healthcare and pro Kavanaugh (he's been shepherding his nomination). Expect a snap attempt to kill the ACA during the lame duck session.

Well, that was obviously going to happen. The governor was not going to go searching for another John McCain. How many thoughtful pro-ACA Republicans are there?

But if the Republicans DO manage to kill the ACA, they will crash and burn in the midterms. Can you imagine voting for the Party that takes you and your family's health insurance away?
