Often dismissed or ridiculed but usually nails it:

Fahrenheit 11/9

No easy answer like an impeachment to cure what ails us. The reports are coming in and saying it's his best.

Dismissed and ridiculed? Only by Republicans and they have been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to be batshite crazy.

I see Nixon lost but another female millenial socialist was elected. Good Job New York.

"No examination of voter apathy and the perceived irrelevance of elections would be complete without an ample study of the 2016 Democratic Party primary process that led to Hillary Clinton’s ultimately doomed nomination. And this is another area where Moore excels. Focusing on one little-known but amazing fact – that Bernie Sanders won all 55 counties over Clinton in the West Virginia primary, beating her by 16 points in a state where she crushed Obama in 2008, yet, at the Democratic Convention, somehow ended up with fewer delegates than she received – Moore interviews a Sanders supporter in West Virginia about the message this bizarre discrepancy sent.

Moore asks: “This just tells people to stay home?” The voter replies: “I think so.” Moore offers his own conclusion through narration: “When the people are continually told that their vote doesn’t count, that it doesn’t matter, and they end up believing that, the loss of faith in our democracy becomes our deathknell.”

I really hope Moores voice can be heard above the shrill indignation of the Mandarins trying to keep the grift going just a little longer. Long enough to cash out and avoid the flood that's sure to come.

That was probably an effect of super-delegates. Bernie could have scored a tiny bit higher in the popular vote in those counties but got none of the super-delegates. The Democratic Party has now stripped them of most of their power. But even without any super-delegate votes, I think Hillary would have gone to the convention with more delegates.

In the last 25/30 years Hillary Clinton has been maligned and accused of just about every crime but rape and incest. During that same time she has been investigated and sued to the tune of somewhere between 20 and 40 million dollars worth of investigations and law suits. During that same time she has not fought back, to my knowledge, at all. If she did it was done VERY quietly. In other words, I think that the woman just might be a saint.

The real problem is, I think, that she set the agenda and tone of the entire Democratic party, which has not really fought back at all, and has been consistent in being the civilized group in the room. So, basically, the Republicans have been about to lie, cheat and steal with basic immunity, insofar as the Dems are concerned. This is, however, indications that, perhaps, the Dems are actually waking up, smelling the roses and are actually girding for battle.

I am not suggesting that the Dems start to burn, rape, pillage, lie, cheat or steal. I am suggesting that it fights back, calls the other side on its lies and cheating, etc., and does it with vigor. In other words, no more nice guy Dems. If they attack then they get attacked back! I firmly believe that this can be done without sacrificing integrity and sanity.

And they are eminently attackable: There is nothing politically or ethically superior about Republican politicians. They are crooks, closeted hypocritical homosexuals, sexual offenders, blatant misogynists, racists, etc. In fact, the Party seems to draw them like the Catholic Church draws men who "like" children.

Not all Republicans are racists, but almost all racists are Republicans now.
