Why in the world would someone jump to the conclusion that this perp is a Trump acolyte? Isn't it just as likely that he was set up as a pasty by those socialist Deems?

Trump minimizes bomb attacks by saying: “Who gets attacked more than me?” I really wish I was making this up.

Trump worshippers do not regard the targeted individuals as actual human beings.
They are demons, devils and such.

Did we actually learn something, Bill?
From what I'm reading and seeing on political forums all over the country, people learned that "there will never be enough payback for Waco".
They don't even care that Koresh was a child molester and that he surrounded his molester kingdom with an arsenal, bomb materials and accellerants.
All they knew was he was a holy man, and that's all they cared about.
Their biggest excuse was that the Feds could have intercepted Koresh anytime.
Nope sorry, Koresh's followers were instructed to set off the mother of all wars if that ever happened, so we would have had the Waco tragedy anyway, possibly with even more deaths.

So have we really learned anything from Oklahoma City? Nope, I don't think we have. SOME OF US have, but a growing number of people refuse to learn.

I see Trump is bloviating some more about ending birthright citizenship by Executive Order, and some idiots in Congress are introducing such legislation. Despite the 14th Amendment being quite clear on the subject. Rep. Steven King claims that children of the undocumented fall into the exception meant for Ambassadors and such. But that exception specifically says it applies only to those not under the jurisdiction of the US. By his theory, the undocumented could commit any crime and not be arrested for it or charged, because they would not fall under US jurisdiction! WTF? Is the man insane, or just incredibly stupid?

I see this again and again, mostly Republicans promoting some "solution" to a problem that is 1000 times worse than the original problem. And they never seem to be able to understand that laws apply to everybody, so when they are out of power they will be totally screwed by their own creation.

I think we need something that punishes people who introduce EOs or legislation that is obviously unconstitutional. Like a $100,000 fine to cover all the hassles and court costs to throw it out.

From Think Progress:
Quote:
The Supreme Court explained more than a century ago, in its 1898 decision in United States v. Wong Kim Ark, why the Fourteenth Amendment contains a limited exemption for people not “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States.

The real object of the fourteenth amendment of the constitution, in qualifying the words ‘all persons born in the United States’ by the addition ‘and subject to the jurisdiction thereof,’ would appear to have been to exclude, by the fewest and fittest words (besides children of members of the Indian tribes, standing in a peculiar relation to the national government, unknown to the common law), the two classes of cases,- children born of alien enemies in hostile occupation, and children of diplomatic representatives of a foreign state,-both of which, as has already been shown, by the law of England and by our own law, from the time of the first settlement of the English colonies in America, had been recognized exceptions to the fundamental rule of citizenship by birth within the country.

When the Fourteenth Amendment was ratified, in other words, there were a few limited classes of children who were born with the United States’ territory but not subject to its laws. They included some Native Americans whose tribes existed as separate sovereign nations within the United States, but also children of foreign diplomats (who enjoy diplomatic immunity from the law of the nation they are visiting), and any children born to a hostile invading army.
