I guarantee it. smile

Every working man and woman in America should call in sick for five days, starting tomorrow. National walkout.

How much does the government shutdown cost? (Politifact). A LOT. We're well over $30 billion in lost revenues already, and that doesn't count the sustained impact on economic output that will persist after the shutdown ends. Conservative estimates (that is, estimates by conservative economists) put the drag on GDP at over .5 percent already, and that drag growth is not linear - it increases daily. And a lot of the costs are not factored in economically. Think of the added burden of clean up at national parks that haven't been budgeted for, and the costs to charities and businesses that have been supporting unpaid federal workers.

Someone please tell me how the dynamics and vectors of the Trump administration do NOT RESEMBLE a case of necrotizing fasciitis.

1.4 MILLION ex-felons win the right to vote in Florida, over strenuous objection of Republicans. I think the days of Republican Florida are over. It's that old demographic creep that's only going to get worse for them.

Of that 1.4 million I only know one person who is a felon and will now be able to vote...he's a Republican.
While it seems it will heavily favor Democrats there are a lot of criminals who vote Republican too.

In light of the fact that it was Republicans who refused to make their peace with people who had served their time and cleansed themselves of their sins?
I doubt it. I suspect that a lot of them might have now been politically rehabilitated, seeing as how a Democrat apparently helped speak on the issue of how to help them get their rights back.

Republicans making under $250K/yr just can't help themselves for voting in ways that harm them. Hmm
