So...I guess it turns out Obama caused the great recession of 2007, two years before he even became President... according to Arthur Laffer. ROTFMOL

Quote:
“Whenever you redistribute income, you reduce total income, and that is what [Sanders is] doing, and I’m very afraid that if he were elected, we would have an enormous crash in the market,” said Laffer. “Now that crash would come in anticipation of his election, but it’s much like Obama, who I believe was the reason we had the Great Recession. As he got closer and closer to winning, the markets collapsed.”

Closer and closer to winning, in 2007???

There is a big "Republicans are good for the economy" myth, which actually conflicts with the numbers. When you look at the economic performance during Republican and Democratic administrations, they mostly go down for Republicans and up for Democrats. Republican policies tend to exacerbate income inequality, which hurts the overall economy. Trump's tax bill is a huge example of redistributing income. Laffer is ignoring that, because the only income redistribution he worries about is from rich to everyone else.

I just did my taxes and made out very well because my wife and I have four different Qualified Businesses. I also did my 92 year-old mother's taxes and she got screwed. She's burned through her savings and has to sell her house to pay the assisted living bills.

Who rage Tweets the day after the redacted Mueller report comes out for being "completely and utterly" exonerated?

Disking at the farm today getting the ground ready for the hemp planting! Going to put in a few tobacco plants, too. Never been a smoker but maybe I'll like a home grown cigar, or a pipe now and then...

We got our new chickens Friday.
