Republicans in general, have a long history of overreach. They do great as the opposition Party, but if they get elected they do a lot of crap that most people don't like. Then they get booted, and the cycle starts all over. Unfortunately, the voters have a very short memory so sooner rather than later they forget all the bad stuff Republicans did the last time they were in power. Hopefully, this administration will be harder to forget. Especially if Trump ends up behind bars, and that's a real possibility.
