No. Sorry. I really have not had those health problems although I do have hypertension. Sorry if I alarmed anyone.
I was just attempting to make a point.

Greger makes these unfounded accusations about me and Republicans is proof positive of the ideological cocoon that liberals live in. I list a bunch of authoritarian Republican programs. You support all of them. I'm only accusing you of supporting what you claim to support. You know, kids in cages and snatching food from poor children for your tax cuts. Getting special little thrills when diabetics die because they can't afford insulin. These are Republican policies at work and you Senator, support the policies. I hope this little back and forth hasn't got you upset, Senator, I woke up kind of grouchy this morning and never got over it.

No, I don't have a problem with our immigration laws being enforced. They are not undocumented immigrants they are illegal immigrants. Your semantic BS does not change the fact the people ICE is arresting have broken the law. I'm sorry, again, Senator, but your ignorance of immigration law is open and notorious. ICE sets record for arrests of undocumented immigrants with no criminal record (USA Today). The VAST MAJORITY of undocumented aliens* (the legal term) are not criminals.

The people you call undocumented immigrants is to use the BS politically correct term for illegal immigrants. One more time, Hatrack - why do you think asylum seekers are illegal immigrants? Show me the law, please.

The people you call undocumented immigrants is to use the BS politically correct term for illegal immigrants. Why do you insist so vociferously being wrong? I use the legally correct term, rather than the politically-motivated incorrect term. The vast majority of undocumented immigrants are "visa overstays" - an administrative term. They are not "illegal immigrants". Some are asylum seekers. Again, not "illegal". DHS uses the term "Unauthorized Immigrant Population" - not illegal aliens. Why? Because, my friend, that is a term of art, and applies only specifically to aliens who are "illegally present" and Section 1252(c) of the "Aliens and Nationality" laws is titled: "Authorizing State and local law enforcement officials to arrest and detain certain illegal aliens." The section authorizes state and local law enforcement officials "to arrest and detain an individual who— (1) is an alien illegally present in the United States; and (2) has previously been convicted of a felony in the United States and deported or left the United States after such conviction."
Section 1365, titled "Reimbursement of States for costs of incarcerating illegal aliens and certain Cuban nationals," applies to any alien convicted of a felony who’s in the country unlawfully and whose most recent entry "was without inspection, or whose most recent admission to the United States was as a nonimmigrant and whose period of authorized stay as a nonimmigrant expired, or whose unlawful status was known to the government." So, in spades, you're wrong.

So, in spades, you're wrong. A visa grants the person who has it a the legal right to be in the country that issued it. If you "overstay" the visa you are breaking the law. Nor are they "undocumented." A visa is a legal document thus the people who have them have documentation of their permission to be in a country for a certain length of time. It is you NW Ponderer who is wrong, not me. For the record my father was the Icelandic Consul for the state of MN. As the Consul he could and did issue visas to Icelanders visiting the US. When he did he explained to them that the visa he was given them was a legal document which allowed them to stay in the US until their visa expired. If they stayed longer than the visa allowed they were breaking the law.

This comment of yours is more proof that your grasp of reality is tenuous. Not only is tenuous but it is slipping fast! You don't read what I wrote you just respond with more BS about what Republicans support. You don't read them because I stated the fact that what you call "cages" were built during the Obama administration. The pictures of kids in "cages" that has ideological blind liberals, like you, so bent out of shape were taken in 2014. Who was our President in 2014? Here is a clue, which you will overlook, it was NOT Trump!
