Trump has fired John Bolton from his position as National Security Director.
Some believe that Bolton was responsible in some way for the recent oil tanker seizures, in an effort to start an Iran War.

Trump says he fired national security advisor John Bolton — but Bolton says he ‘offered to resign’

Quote:
President Donald Trump said Tuesday he fired national security advisor John Bolton, saying on Twitter he had “disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions.”

I laughed so hard! He thought for a moment that his day had come. But all who entrust Trump to fulfill their dreams find themselves at some point...out in the cold.

You know what I like about Trump? He has no stomach for war.

Ted Cruz be all like:
"It's teh Deep State, hurry...call Q !!!"

Quote:
“I sincerely hope his leaving the White House does not mean that the deep-state forces at State and Treasury — who have been fighting tooth and nail to preserve the Obama Iran nuclear deal — have finally convinced the president to go soft on Iran.”

Ted Cruz has heated conspiratorial meltdown about ‘deep state’ ousting John Bolton

Fired, resigned what is the difference, it is just another turd out of the White House.

The only bad thing about it, Bolton won't testify in front of Rep Nadler's committee or any other congressional committee.

Oh he might. Depends on how much Trump pissed him off.

And he's out of a job so a book deal might come available...

John Roberts of Fox News posted Bolton's resignation letter. There is no "pleasure to serve you," no "we accomplished a lot," nothing.

Just a curt #ByeFelicia smile

Bolton never saw another country he didn't want to fight. Trump asked for his resignation because they disagreed all the time. Bolton saw North Korea and Russia as America's deadly enemies. I think the Taliban meeting was the last straw. Bolton was right about who our enemies are, and that got him in trouble with Trump because Trump's "foreign policy" is to kiss up to them.

What was deeply flawed was Bolton's approach to our enemies. He was always suggesting invasion or simply nuking them, even though that would kill us all. Pretty useless as a National Security Adviser. He should never, ever have a position of power again.

I bet he will write a tell-all book just in time for the 2020 election. Publishers are even now trying to decide who will advance him one million+.
