Media is the gift that just keeps on giving. They gave is, for instance, our dear leader Trump. First they trained him up to entertain through something like 12 years of The Apprentice. Its not easy to maintain a TV show for that long as the audience tends to get tired of the whole thing after a bit. (I watched almost 2 seasons of the apprentice before I gave up on it). To foster the Apprentice the same channel that had the apprentice also gave Trump a LOT of exposure. The general thought is that they gave the man something like 5 BILLION dollars worth of TV exposure! In other words the media is responsible for Trump (with a little help from the TV brain dead).

Now the Dems are running shows to expose their overabundance of Democratic Presidential Candidates to the American public. One of the problems, with this one, is that the show is, basically, boring. Americans do not like boring! The last 'debate' has 20% fewer watchers than the last. If they have another there will be fewer watching. First, it is NOT a debate its a race to see who can make a statement that will go viral and little else. They are, however, starting to establish groups of fellow travelers. But, in the main, its a complete waste of time and easier to let the talking heads of TV tell us if anything interesting happened. For the most part the talking heads themselves are having a hard time finding something of interest to report.

The problem, I think, is that the Democrats just don't have much to sell that hasn't been oversold for a long time. I think they are trying, very hard, to find anything that the voters might find of interest - and they are failing. What they are accomplishing is to further fragment those that oppose Trump into little groups claiming this and that. That seems to be encouraged by the true believing, my way or the highway, pure of the left. You know, that group of losers that voted for Trump because their Socialist Leader Bernie was offended by the party that he has proudly and absolutely refused to join and still run under the banner of.

So, media tends to make the solutions. They pick individuals and then give them coverage. The one with the most coverage WILL will the Democratic choice as candidate. So far they have been somewhat fair but, now, they have one candidate, Michael Bloomberg, who is starting with a 300 million dollar ad buy. I wonder, will the media give this man any more exposure? The answer, of course, is YOU BETCHA!

I will vote for him but it will be interesting if he can overcome the hatred of the aforementioned pure ones. Then there is the other millionaire but he is only worth about 1.2 billion dollars so his ad buys will be less with less exposure to go along with it.

things are going to get more interesting?

It pains me to do so, but I will vote for whomever the dems put up front. Pick a name out of the phone book, just so long as it isn't Trump.

Right, we need to stop the hemorrhaging, amputate the dead tissue and cauterize the surgical wound.

Or we need to burn this motherf*cker to the ground and start over.

Biden is too much of a stretch for me. He may be a greater danger in the long run than another four years of Trump.

Not sure I can agree but I also don't think he's going to be the front runner for much longer after this video.

This is just horribly bad optics no matter what your views are.
If Biden is handling people this poorly, he's in deep sh!t, sorry but that is just a fact.
We are eleven months out and this clip will be repeated by EVERY Trump loving Republican in the country.

Worse yet, it will also be repeated by every person who gives a damn about our immigration issues and who wants a real solution and not just bandwagon platitudes.
I mean, no matter what your specific views are as a liberal, even if you agree with Biden, he basically comes off as rude and arrogant.

But he’s consistent.
There’s nothing different in how he’s reacted in the video with his positions and behavior over his career.
This is what has made him the favorite of the current liberal class.
Up till now anyways, he’s been their man.

Biden could not be as bad as Trump if he stayed up all night trying.

And the burn it down thing? Interrupt the movement of food into cities for 18 hours, and see what happens. The system does not start on a dime, and if we lose it, it ain't coming back, so get used to long pig. Or being long pig.

Balls. He was Obama's straight man. Only this, and nothing more.

In the end, it's going to be a contest between Warren and Sanders.

Also, it's hilariously horrible how, in the face of overt fascism, the best anyone left of Attila the Hun can do is fight each other in the lifeboat.

I would even go for Bloomberg, if that's what it took to get rid of Trump. At least we would have a sane businessman, who isn't a con man. This administration is like a Looney Tunes cartoon, and it gets worse every day.
