Your daily reminder that Donald Trump proves three things:

1. The Tea Party never really cared about the national debt - it really WAS about a black president for them.
2. Evangelicals never really cared about "values."
3. Republicans never cared about WH oversight.

Elijah Cummings, the chairman of the powerful House Committee on Oversight and Reform, and a longtime Democratic member from Baltimore, has died at age 68.

Donald J Trump, the most grifty POTUS ever, to hold the 2020 G7 at the bed bug and cockroach-ridden Trump International Doral
Resort.

Guess Camp David isn't good enough for the gold-plated gaudy grifter - plus no money to skim off of Camp David either. coffee

That right there should be an impeachable offense.

That it isn't speaks to the failure of our founders. They tried, bless their hearts, but they failed. A despot has seized the reigns and a party has made a crown a part of their logo for the 2020 convention.
2020 logo

A subtle hint that Trump will be crowned in 2020!

That monarchic rule has arrived! That Single Party rule has been achieved!

yeah, lack of foresight on the part of the founders.

The thing I remember most was the fact that every single time a candidate was just about to get to the meat of their point, they'd get interrupted by an almost mechanical sounding "Senator, thank you", or "Thank you, Senator", or "Secretary" or whatever their title was...thus "Senator Thankyou" almost got more airtime than any of the candidates.
It was an overly long flurry of competing impotent "GOTCHA!" sound bites all designed to work as distraction from even the foggiest notion that we are dealing in complex issues which require careful, well thought out answers and a great deal of cooperation.

The Democratic Party thinks it had something to do with the layout of this debate but in reality, it had nothing to do with the layout of the debate.
CNN is claiming responsibility for the layout of this turd, but they weren't as involved as they think they were.

Nope, TWITTER and the TWITTER mindset and attention span is what is responsible for the layout of this debate.
There wasn't even a need to broadcast it on TV at all, when the best format would have been for it to be a live text stream on social media, with a tiny live video window where you could see and hear them if you wanted to. But mostly, we listened to a series of live action enhanced Twitter textfarts.

The Republican Party claims they had nothing to do with the layout of the debate, but whether they know it or not, they did...even if they didn't intend to.
Everything about this most recent debate was designed and laid out in homage to Donald Trump's favorite medium.

I'm not aiming this at the Trumpers, or even the Republicans.
This is leveled at you, you Democrats, you lefties, you liberals, you folks on the center-left side of the fence, you mavens of the DNC apparatus.

No more clown cars, please.
No more ambushes.
No more gotchas.
This madness must stop.

"Sadly, the recently announced pullout risks repeating the Obama administration’s reckless withdrawal from Iraq, which facilitated the rise of the Islamic State in the first place."

---Uh ohhh, Mitch invoked Obama and compared a Trump strategy to an Obama failure.

Mitch intended to draw blood because McTurtle knows that if he really wants to inflame the Orange Baboon, all he has to do is compare him or his work product to that ignint Kenyan nigra commie who was in the White House before him.
