Had a lovely day today. We went and worked at the cabin; sanded the rest of the floor, did some mouse-proofing, and planted a flowerbed. The creek is running high from snowmelt but we had sunny 65 degree weather.

Non-essential Hobby Lobby is staying open during the pandemic because the owner's wife got a message from God to stay open.

coffee

It's not like the Hobby Lobby's owner is down with science or healthcare which Hobby Lobby doesn't provide for their employees anyway.

Hmm

My brother and his wife came out, brought me weed and groceries, she had a bottle of bourbon, he had fishing pole. We visited, got a little drunk, he caught a few Warmouth Perch and took them home in a bucket. The creek has been high all winter and has just settled back into its banks, probably mid 80s today with low humidity, a nice day.

Well, I tested negative for the plague. All I had was the sinus bug that's going around.

Why should HL provide healthcare when they can just socialize the overhead and make taxpayers pay for it instead?

Of course, if taxpayers paid for EVERYONE's healthcare, their own included, then we could put the grifter insurance cartels out of business. It's this piecemeal thing that hurts us...not to mention that in many states, the Medicaid option sucks ass.

Not in CA, thankfully.
By the way, Daryl WILL be getting Medi-Cal, we finally got that worked out, thank God.
