Nice to hear, but it's not going to change the outcome.

The only thing the dems have to gain here is to make McConnell and a few others say the quiet parts out loud.

You mean like, "We have the information, and they don't." ?

I mean, "there is nothing we won't do and welcome to the new feudalism."

A little bit of Win 10 Info for us Old Folks.

In the latest update for Win10 a few changes were made allowing the user to adjust cursor size and color. Find it under "Settings, Ease of Access, Cursor & pointer". Also, by clicking on box 2, 3 and 4 of "Change pointer color" you can set the cursor color to a tri-colour cursor; a high contrast cursor on a black or white background and the color you select (box 4) on a coloured background.

Hope this is of help, it sure is for me.

I am absolutely LOVING the new Win10 on both my machines, "Little Beast" and "Beast III"....except for one little idiosyncracy I wasn't aware of...GRRRRRRR!!!! mad

Apparently it is either impossible or next to impossible to get two Win10 HOME machines to talk to each other because of the added security.

Tried HOMEGROUP, and yes, it is there, and yes it lets you see YOUR machine but good luck trying to see its neighbors.
Mind you, I've been networking machines for eons.
This is a "Cat trusts dog but dog does not trust cat" issue.

I have the Win passwords for both boxes but it doesn't matter, Windows Security doesn't care. It lets you type the pwd in but it refuses to recognize it anyway.

Apparently I am going to have to upgrade to Win10 Pro, it seems.
I've been told that networking is a breeze on Win10 Pro.

But it may be a moot point for the time being anyway because Karen's machine is beginning to show its age and might have to be rebuilt now, so Little Beast might be Karen's temporary machine until I can save the $$$ to redo hers.

Other than that, it's fast, capable, secure, totally logical, and not the least bit buggy. Microsnot has hit it out of the park with 10 in my humble opinion.

Are you just now leaving Windows 7? It's almost cartoonish when compared to the oh so professional demeanor of Windows 10.

What if you were to try to network through your router? How do big companies with multiple machines get each to talk to each other? Try their approach. smile

My big workstation was Windows 8.1 and I saw no reason to fix something that weren't broke.
My other machine was Win7.
Son, daughter and then finally Karen migrated to 10, with Karen just about two months ago.
So I am not unfamiliar with it, just lazy.
We're Win10 top to bottom now.
