Love mine...

Me too. I used to get a virus once a year when I had a Win machine - even though I had the anti-virus software.

I've had a Mac since September 2014, still the same machine, and never once had a virus. Bow

Rule of Thumb for Windows OS's: Always wait for the first or second service pack before migrating to the new OS.

Every Windows OS in history has fell on its face until the first couple of service packs get issued.
By the way, Apple updates often break installed software as well, so it's not entirely exclusive to Windows.

I used to hear screams of agony from Mac based editors all day long back when I worked at Complete Post.
I was one of the guys who worked AVID on a Windows system...everyone else was Apple Final Cut Pro, which I have always hated.

Windows 10 intentionally broke software, and when my laptop dies, I will not be replacing it with a windows machine.

Which software?

Q: What's the difference between Alan Dershowitz's client Jeffrey Epstein and Alan Dershowitz's client Donald Trump?

A: One of them is dead, other than that, not much.

Paintshop Pro V is the first one that comes to mind.

"Not supported".

I think Adobe Flash might be nothing but trash.

In some cases Windows Security turns off your third party virus apps.

There's another one on the tip of my tongue...

I got an original Dos 3 PC way back when, and I don't think I've ever got a virus yet. I am careful where I go on the internet, and what I do with stranger's emails. I have been running McAffee for a very long time, and I always turn on security updates.

If I remember correctly support for PSP Pro ended with either 7 or 8.1 and that's only because the PSP folks didn't want to update the drivers. That isn't "breaking" software, it's "end of life" and you could try running it in "compatibility mode".
I make a fair amount of stuff work by using Compatibility Mode all the way from Win8 all the way down to XP emulation.

Bolton: Trump engaged in an extortion scheme.
Conservatives: Bolton is Liberal scum.

Hmm

It is probably the unsigned driver problem. Just look up "turn on test mode" and windows 7, 8, or 10. It's easy as pie. I don't even have emulation mode on to run some of my older software.

Funny about Bolton: Conservatives LOVED Bolton, right up until the point he said Trump did something illegal. Now he's Liberal Scum? No he's still an avid hawk on every enemy of America. It's the Republicans who have decided to join Trump in kissing the ass of every disgusting despot in the world.

You know the difference between a brown-noser and a shitehead, right?

Depth perception.
