I'm sorry but this, and Sanders's complaints are BS. Anyone who thinks a $5000 donation is going to influence a $75 million campaign is smoking dope. Now, the $400,000 donation to the DCCC is a bit moe problematic.

Pete is a moderate. He hasn't got the grass roots support or name recognition that some other candidates have and must resort to "traditional" funding.

But at the same time, I think Pete said that if he gets the nomination he will be the most progressive candidate ever to run for president.

I don't grudge him the wine cellar supporters or even the Russian oligarchs. We could do a lot worse than Pete.

People keep asking me why I am not a fan of "The Purge" series on TV.
I'm just around the corner from sixty-three, but not yet at the point where daily talk of strong laxatives is part of my inner dialogue.
So now that you're busy laughing and thinking "Okay Boomer!", consider the fact that, for anyone over fifty-five, "The Purge" feels way too much like what the reality of life under "Trump Unhinged" is about to become.

For anyone over eighty, it HAS to feel like a certainty.
Anne Frank's stepsister agrees.

And, in other news, in a desperate quest for better ratings, Lou Dobbs has apparently taken complete control of the body of MSNBC's Chris Matthews.

Eminem just performed at the Oscars®. Back in the day, Em was a skinny peroxide blonde dude. Tonight, pushing 47, thicker, sporting a close-crop black beard, and a black baseball cap, black jacket, t-shirt and black jeans - he had a ghey behr vibe going on. I was liking it big time. I'm all...where you been hiding little cub?

I'm going out on a limb here and suggest that the character of "Joker" is based upon Trump sycophants, collectively

I guess I better try to go see this. I assumed it was Batman related.
I think I've only seen two of the Batman movies and for me Jack Nicholson or Heath Ledger were both great.

So this Joaquin Phoenix movie isn't "The Joker" from the Batman franchise?

The film is based on a DC Comics character. smile

I'm just saying that Trump sycophants are sociopathic clowns. smile
