So, what you are saying is, if a North East family, every year, heads to Florida for the winter, to a house they own. They are taxable as a resident of Florida, which they are, and can not run for public office in their North-Eastern home state?

Now, if Bloomberg became a registered voter in Bermuda and applied for and received a Bermuda driver's license, or applied for British Citizenship, then you may have something. But until there is proof, the situation implied in your post is fake news.

No. That’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying that, like any billionaire, I’ll be very interested in how he declares income and in what state. I’d also like to know much more about his Bahamian co’s.

His record in my state is what’s disqualifying in my book.

Bloomberg looks like he may have set 300 million on fire in the Nevada debate.
Just my opinion.

Luckily for oligarchs, he’s got 300 million more to blow without missing it.

Yea, He did and does: burned the 300 million and can burn 3oo million more, that is just obscene. After last night's lack of performance will he? Will Bloomberg, keep his promise to turn over his organization to the DNC for the election if he is not the Candidate?

Near the end of the debate, I thought I heard Warren tell one of the other candidates to "Shut Up", It sounded like Warren, am I just hearing things or have others also heard that?

As for declaring where he pays taxes, He did say, he pays New York Taxes.

Good to see it was a debate last night. The candidates were throwing Nukes...

I heard him say he has a NY address and pays taxes in NY. So, yes, he pays property taxes. Maybe.
NY has had a thing for rich people being given property tax abatements so who knows. He was not specific. I did hear ‘Bahamian co’s’ getting lobbed at him during the scrum. The release of his taxes, whenever they get finished, should be revelatory.

Otherwise, he should be wearing a powdered wig and hose at the next debate.

I agree, it was a good debate.

He will never release his taxes.

I don't think billionaires have "taxes" they can release. They have teams of accountants, teams of lawyers, in many different jurisdictions and in many different countries. It's simply not possible to get a snapshot of it. His people can make his "taxes" say anything they want them to say.

Suffice to say that Mike Bloomberg pays a f*ck ton of taxes. And he avoids paying a f*ck ton more.
