On the internet...I been saving it for next time you mentioned inverted socialism.

If you turn socialism onto its head though, it simply becomes capitalism. So, like this inversion, it just doesn't work.
It's top heavy, stupid, and clumsy.

What we're witnessing here is not some perverse upside down form of socialism that benefits the bourgeoisie by exploiting the proletariat. It's end stage capitalism doing exactly what it was predicted to do.

Seems to me, correct me if I'm wrong, the Democrats have a self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist running for their nomination.

Maybe I'm just uninformed. Are you saying that a "Socialist" and a "Democratic Socialist" are the same thing?

HA HA...except they aren't the same thing.

Is that like saying that Trumpism doesn't contain strains of fascism, but rather Democratic Fascism?

Democratic Socialism falls under the realm of Socialism, and Bernie has repeatedly claimed the title of Socialist for himself. Democratic is a qualifier. Socialism, the noun.

And there is already a large dose of socialism in our government - since the beginning, in fact. It's baked into the Constitution. Why is the word so toxic to them of... of... what exactly is the preferred form of government of the antiso's, anyway?

Far as I know, we don't have anyone here with family ties to royalty past, present or future. And if you're making tech gee-gaws the hallmark of uber-rex amenities, fraid that fell short.

And I'll bet fifty bucks you're not crapping in a gold crapper either.

When the government makes and spends money, is that Capitalism, or Socialism?

I’m trying to sort out what form of government we have.

On reflection, perhaps Capitalism and Socialism are apples and oranges, as the latter is a mix of government and economic systems, while the former is (supposed to be) an economic system only.

But back to the core question, what system of government does the U.S. have?
