Here's something I received from Gallup this AM. I thought you all might find interesting.

I dunno, it's something very evil, that's all I know.
I can barely manage to be up for more than about an hour and I feel like I am drowning...can't catch my breath.

Flu? Corona virus?

Have you had your Pneumonia shot?

I can list at least three ReaderRant administrators who did not survive the position. Another was nearly killed by a cow.

Go to the Emergency Clinic.

Don't screw around with that: Get in to see a doctor quickly. If your respiratory system fails you literally have a couple of minutes to live. Go to Urgent Care or ER. They may want to hospitalize you so they can administer Oxygen.

Keep an eye on your fingernails. If they start to turn blue you need a oximeter and Oxygen right now.

Hey, my Pulse-Ox is at 90 or 91 right now.
I will probably be going in tomorrow.
I cannot just take off and go without making arrangements.
Karen now pretty much needs someone around all day.

Remember we have a heart patient here, Daryl.
We have an oximeter
So if I leave, I need to have someone there for her.

If you are at 90, you have no margin of safety. 92 is considered important for patients with respiratory diseases. Do you have some Oxygen and a mask for your son? You might want to consider using it while you sleep, just so you don't wake up dead tomorrow morning.

Go to the Hospital!

You may have pneumonia. One of the major killers of old folks.

Who is going to take care of your family if you pull a Reader Rant Administrator. Hmm
