From the Hewlett Foundation:

Feature Podcast: Voting in 2020 will likely be by mail

We were originally scheduled to record this interview just a few short weeks ago, but the COVID-19 crisis really hit and we had to postpone. And itís a good thing we did, too, because the issues facing elections today are substantially different to the issues facing elections even a few weeks ago. The whole world has just shifted.

So, instead of having the usual conversation about risk limiting audits, voting machine and tally/counting infrastructure security, we had this conversation instead. How on earth do you run an election during a pandemic? Thereís a tl;dr here Ė e-voting is still a pipe dream but internet supported vote-by-mail is where things will land.

Seems like a no brainer to me. The very obvious and very simple answer.

Republicans will fight it tooth and nail.

The president has already said that voting by mail is corrupt and invited voter fraud. Before admitting that he voted by mail.

Like in Wisconsin, hazmat suited state officials will insist voters all come to the polls.
Good coffee, good weed, and time on my hands...

Not if Mr Trump can help it ... and .... with his complicit cadre of Republicans in Congress and state legislatures my guess is it is a hit or miss proposition with only one goal in mind .... get Mr Trump reelected or anointed liar-in-chief for life.
ignorance is the enemy
without equality there is no liberty
Get off the crazy train!!! ... dump Trump
