More conservatism on display: The fact that the Trump re-election campaign choose Juneteenth, the date that slavery ended, as a day to hold its first rally in months in Tulsa, OK the site of white-on-black massacre in 1921 is not coincidental. Trumpís plan to accept his partyís nomination in Jacksonville, FL on August 27th is also not coincidental. On that date in 1960, a mob of 200 white men attacked black protesters in Jacksonville, an incident now known as Ax Handle Saturday. Trumpís events on these dates in these cities are not merely coincidences. These are dog whistles to his white nationalist base and reeks of Stephen Millerís handiwork.
