I have noticed that Jackass Trump does not like to make any decisions but always seems to pass the buck instead. Now, however, that has been passed on to governors. The best example is refusing any responsibility and laying Covid-19 off onto the governors. This week, however, most Republican governors have emulated their Lord and Master and has now passed it all on to the Mayors so they don't have to make any decisions. Then there is the congress. In the senate Do Nothing Mitch is following the same examples set by his Lord and Master and red state governors. That is almost true. The simple fact is that Mitch is sitting on something like 400+ bills, passed by the House and then completely ignored by senators as per the wishes of Do Nothing Mitch. Basically, Mitch has stopped the senate in their tracks and the Republicans say nothing, do nothing, just whine and call names.

I can't remember a time when the elected of one party has, basically, refused to do their jobs. At least Trump and the Governors have somebody to saddle with the decisions. The senate, now, is a completely different ball of stinky crap. Hopefully that can be taken care of in November and, again hopefully, the Dems don't screw it up!

I think I may have mentioned it before but, if the Dems do win, and win it all, they can then proceed to fix what has been screwed up by the Republicans. That list is seriously long. My hope is that they do not do it by decree (the current system, started by Obama when the Republicans stopped virtually any and all Obama legislation followed by Trump who seems to prefer not legislating but ruling by fiat). Anyway, I think legislation is more durable and the way its supposed to be done.

Of course this also means that Democratic in-party wars are going to have to stop until they fix what is broken. If they don't they will not get elected next time around. If Biden was smart it would start, right now, talking about what Trump has done and what he will need to do to fix it.

It's actually a lot safer at this point to just say: "I'll fix everything Trump has broken." And that would cover pretty much everything Trump has done. If Biden starts listing things, it can only alienate voters when he hits their sacred cow. There are a lot of Republicans and Republican leaning Independents who are ready to vote for Biden, but maybe not if Biden pans something they like.

Biden can almost just stay home at this point and win. Trump campaigns for him every day and night. Don't "fix it" if it ain't broke.

Yah, you are right (again) I am even sure he should say something like "I'll fix what Trump has broken" (leave out 'everything')

I have been wringing my hands and whining about Biden not actively campaigning and I was wrong about that one (too) His numbers continue to climb as trump's continue to fall. Not unlike many my faith in polls are not exactly strong but, hopefully, they are right. Trump actually does Biden's work for him. Trump, currently, is actually trying to kill off his true believers by gathering them on in one place and then getting them to actively spew Covid-19 to their friends and Trump worshippers. In the next two weeks we will see if I am right, or not, on that one. My only real problem with that is that they aren't bright enough to notice that following their Lord and Master can get them by the fake Covid-19 thing.

Well, we already have Trump campaign staff, Secret Service agents, and a reporter infected at the rally. There are bound to be a lot more who just don't have the resources to get tested unless they develop symptoms. That means 80% of them will go home and spread it to other people. This is text-book epidemiology. Look out, Tulsa: Plague is coming.

There is a problem with all of this. I have watched Trump not get Covid-19 all year long. At the same time I have watched him in close proximity with those that are positive, shaking hands, etc. The man seem immune to Covid-19! What I cannot understand is why there is not a conspiracy about this one.

How about this. Trump has access to something that makes him immune to Covid-19 and its a secret so that the medical community can keep on bringing in the bucks treating them with the virus? This seems a natural to me. My only other question about this is where in the hell are the conspiracy theorists, on the left, and why haven't they gone public. The answer to that one is probably that they are holding back until we get closer to the election?

Inquiring minds SHOULD do something about this!!

I think most people on the left like the real science-based facts, as opposed to "alternate facts" that are made up to spin events. So they tend to not believe in silly conspiracy theories.

Now this is not to say there aren't actual conspiracies. For example, Hillary talked about a vast right-wing conspiracy, and it turns out it was real: Republican spent decades and many millions of taxpayer dollars investigating her, and they never found anything to charge her with. That certainly sounds like a "get Hillary" conspiracy to me.

As for Trump's Covid-19 immunity, it could be that when he made the emergency trip for medical care a few weeks ago they gave him some monoclonal antibody or some recovered donor serum antibody. That would also fit with the timing of his claiming he was taking hydroxychloroquine with zinc. I'm sure he would get the best, most expensive treatments possible, and not be sent home to see if he got pneumonia.

What is an "average leftist activist"?

I don't know about "average leftist activists, but geneticists KNOW (not believe) there are XY, XX, X0, XXX, XXXX, XYY, etc. And those are just some of the gene combinations. There also people whose fetal brain is exposed to the sex hormone that does not match their genetic code, who often end up with body dysmorphia. (EG. Female brain in a male body, etc.)

So believing in just two is naive: Does not match the real world.
