He never wanted to win in the first place. The only reason he's running is to avoid going to jail. If Democrats would privately promise him clemency I think he'd resign....

"We're not going to let Joe Biden and Kamala Harris cut America's meat."
-- A thing Mike Pense said.

More context; Pense had to promise "Mother" that he wouldn't let Kamala womanhandle his meat during the VP debate.

I think it may also imply that Pense still has an intact foreskin... is he Jewish? (I thought he was some radical Christian sect).

Just watched a very interesting YouTube lecture to the Northern California MIT club by an MIT physicist about cold fusion. He's been studying it for decades and it turns out it is real! Extremely difficult and subtle, but real. Apparently the original paper on it left out a few important facts, like you have to load up the palladium electrode with deuterium for weeks under very high pressure. Even then, only about 1 in 10 of electrodes will work. Load it too much, and it won't work. You can get much higher success rates if you can electroplate some palladium on the surface of the electrode while loading it. It's all about getting the spacing of deuterium and palladium atoms right in the palladium lattice. If you have some vacancies in the lattice, more deuterium atoms can interact with each other.

His group also think they have figured out how it works when it does: Basically D + D => He-4, but instead of putting out an energetic neutron, it translates into vibration. (Which is also known as heat.) They wanted to see if such reactions were even possible and they proved it by vibrating some decaying Cobalt-57 with terahertz vibrations. Sure enough, they see very significant changes in the decay rate when they switch on and off the vibration.

That is proof of interaction between physical energy like heat and nuclear reactions like decay, which is Nobel Prize stuff, if you ask me.

Marvels such as this await us if we can just survive the next 100 years with our civilization and technology intact.

Had to chase a skunk off the front porch. It wasn't particularly scared of me - I threw a small water bottle at it and missed by about 4 feet! Like Fauci throwing out the first pitch...

Skunks and raccoons are not particularly afraid of us. Avoiding us is easiest, but they will confront you if they have to. Probably because we have stopped eating them...

If it comes back, maybe I'll threaten to eat it.
