My hope is that the Democrats, in October, attack Trump, tooth and nail, on his very public statement that he is not responsible. I think that is almost forgotten. The question, I think, might be something like; "Do you really want an irresponsible president?". If they could also convince the Lincoln Project, at the same time, to create an ad about Trumps obvious inability to either take responsibility OR make a decision which could be blamed for (take responsibility) that would also help.

As far as I can tell that may actually be the plan as nobody, so far, has even mentioned the word (responsibility).

Trump isn't saying that "America is dangerous" he's saying that the portions of America controlled by Democrats are dangerous. Just look at the violence in the streets, the black on black crime, the poverty rates. Blue states have the highest number of immigrants, the highest numbers of poor people and the highest crime. The answer is simple...give control to Republicans and it will all be fixed!

Only a thin blue line stands between you and poor people of color!

That's exactly what Trump is saying while trying to play his law and order card while being an incumbent. It is my opinion electing Republicans won't fix a thing. Most of the problems you mention is a local and state issues which only they themselves can address and fix. They have to be innovative, then recognize if something doesn't work, discard it and try something else.

We have, in my opinion, a problem if something doesn't work. It either didn't have enough money spent on it or the program was too small and needs expanding. What we need is new ideas and approaches while being able to try new things and approaches.

Young fresh new faces need to come on the scene who aren't afraid to experiment and try new novel things.

It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

If I get a chance to vote, I'm actually planning to vote for James Mattis, and sleep soundly on a clean conscience smile

Here's the fundamental difference between Lefties and Righties.

Lefties think all people should work together to make America great. They don't have it figured out exactly how to do that.

Righties think that dividing America into enemy factions, where Righties "own" the Lefties will make America great. They know how to do that.
