I do believe that they do have "quick test strips" but they are the 5.00 ones. Trump bought millions of those. I was hoping for the less expensive (a buck) ones that the guy from Harvard was trying to get going.

I wonder which member of the Trump family bought that stock before the buy happened. I firmly believe that Trump manages to take a taste of everything he spends taxpayer money on - just like any other self respecting member of the criminal community.

God, I hope so. Atlas gives incompetence a bad name. I think Trump likes him because it makes him look smart in comparison. The National Center for Disaster Preparedness at Columbia University estimates that "130,000 deaths and perhaps as many as 210,000 could have been avoided" if Trump had been halfway competent. That's 2-3 times what we lost in all of the Vietnam War. I don't think most people were prepared for the disaster that the Trump administration is.
A well reasoned argument is like a diamond: impervious to corruption and crystal clear - and infinitely rarer.

Here, as elsewhere, people are outraged at what feels like a rigged game -- an economy that won't respond, a democracy that won't listen, and a financial sector that holds all the cards. - Robert Reich

The herd immunity threshold depends directly on R0 which is determined by the characteristics of the virus but it also depends very much on human behavior. If everybody wore masks and isolated well, it might be 20%. Or it might be whatever it is now, with no new spread. That's R0 = 0.

If people behave as they are now, R0 is way higher and the herd immunity threshold may well be 90%. So having a strategy of herd immunity with no isolation or masks is mass murder.

Actually, he, basically, re-words what trump says and then says it back. Again, TRUMP KNOWS EVERYTHING! Once that is understood its pretty easy to know what he is actually saying its just different words from a well trained toadie.

This is how it works. Has absolutely nothing to do with our reality but they have another one. The real problem is that reality doesn't work. Trump can't/doesn't realize it and the toadies don't care as all they want is recognition by their lord and master....
