Slate has a story about the Supreme Courts decision that religion trumps public health:
Supreme Court Decision Can Kill People Interesting thing: They know little about medicine, and did not consult any public health authorities before making their decision that churches are not subject to a Governor's public health rules. But I have mixed feelings about their ruling. The silver lining is that their decision is going to kill the right people.
Churches can hold inside services where congregants sing without masks. Can they sue the church when a family member contracts Covid-19 at that church service? Apparently people can sue the church when the priest sodomizes little Bobby. Can they sue when the church kills him?
I think we need a little common sense when it comes to Public Health in this country. The Constitution is not a suicide pact.
