Super Tuber

Super Tuber is a great snack that uses one of my favorite vegetables: The Idaho Potato. Of course, I suppose any type of potato could be used, but I cannot guarantee that a Super Tuber made with anything but a true Idaho potato would taste as good.

Ingredients
1 hot dog, cook's choice
1 Idaho baking potato, 7 to 10 ounces
Mustard for dipping, any style
Other condiments as desired such as cheese sauce, sour cream, chili, chives, bacon pieces or black olives.

Wash and dry potato. Rub with shortening or butter. With an apple corer or small knife, core out the potato center (end to end). Push hot dog through the center. Bake until potato is cooked through.

Oh gawd...Idaho potatoes are being abused/enjoyed across our nation!!! And some new novelty company is undoubtedly creating a 'Senator Potato Head' toy set with new accessories for new holes...perhaps packaged in something that looks like a stall.

(Keep hotdogs in freezer)

For when you only have a few minutes (between planes, maybe?)

take frozen-stiff wiener out of freezer
hammer it into the potato
(first try tapping - the tat-er might be compliant)
pop it in the microwave until something explodes

share with a new friend.

After consulting with a mod, I am told that I have no grounds to have Firmi go visit the Senator, that is unless he pleads guilty to a violation of the RR Bill of Wrongs, so carefully crafted is his slur.
