Pollster dot com, stingy though it may be, has put Florida in the Obama column along with Colorado. Ohio, Virginia, and New Hampshire are still in the "tossup" column although Obama is establishing a statistically significant lead in all three. Nevertheless, even without them, pollster gives Obama 296 EV's as of today.

The McCain count is 163. No change since last week.

Two more big states are now on the Obama side of the ledger, according to Pollster dot com - li'l ol' New Hampshire, and big fat Ohio.

Remember the Ohio-Pensylvania-Florida formula? It goes like this: if the democratic candidate prevails in two of them, he wins the election. But now the Obama campaign can defy that conventional wisdom. If they can hang on to their lead in Colorado, New Mexico, and Iowa, they can win the election with either Florida or Pennsylvania alone.

As of today, all three are in the Obama column. Pollster's current electoral count is 320-163, with only five states left in the "toss-up" category (NV, MO, IN, VA, and NC).

I've been following the electoral vote count from another site and that count looks more optimistic with Barack at 364 and John at 174 electoral votes, respectively.

Plus Gallup has Barack at 51% and John at 42%.
